Attractions:

Walk across the Red Bridge, which was built in 1836-38, and is the oldest convict built brick bridge in Australia - a most impressive sight! Or, for the more sedate guests, explore the many fine examples of colonial architecture, walk the convict brick trail, or simply browse through the local antique and bric-a-brac shops.

Description:

Located on The Heritage Highway in historic Campbell Town, Tasmania, Australia. By day, The Grange is an imposing site; when floodlit at night, it evokes mystery and grandeur.

The Grange is an exceptional example of Tudor Gothic architecture. It is listed on the Register of the National Estate and classified by the National Trust of Australia (Tasmania). The Grange has been the pre-eminent building in Campbell Town since its construction in 1847, and remains one of Tasmania's architectural icons.

The Grange has been lovingly converted into 4 star heritage Bed and Breakfast Accommodation. From the beautiful glass conservatory, with its fruit laden grapevine, to the grand drawing room, and the Old English style gardens with expansive lawns, The Grange will certainly impress those with an appreciation of the important place it plays in Australia's National Heritage.

Within the most remarkable roofline embracing six dormer windows, five gables and twelve statuesque chimneys, are nestled three Heritage style ensuited bedrooms overlooking the peaceful countryside.

The Grange is home to June, Gary and their daughter Emma, who will go out of their way to make you feel comfortably at home. At the end of a day's activities, take a stroll around the perfumed gardens, unwind with a glass of Tasmanian wine or a beer, or just relax in the cosy guest sitting room with a good book. A hearty continental breakfast in the sun drenched Blackburn Room is a great way to start the new day.

The Grange is much more than just another Bed and Breakfast!
